Privacy Policy
What Run the Slots collects, who else receives it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted. Written plainly, and kept accurate to what the product actually does.

The short version
- We record how the site is used, including session replays of mouse movement, scrolls and clicks. You can switch that off.
- Photos you send to the machine scanner are read by a Google AI service and kept so we can check the scanner's accuracy.
- Messages you send to Floor are stored on your account and sent to an outside AI provider to generate the reply.
- We never sell your data, and we never see your full card number.
- You can ask us to delete everything, at any time, and we will.
What We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text. If you sign in with Google instead, Google tells us the email address on that account — we never receive your Google password.
If you subscribe, Stripe processes the payment. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us; we receive only your email address, which plan you bought, and whether the payment succeeded.
We record the IP address your connection reports, and the approximate location it maps to (country, region, city), at four points: when you create an account, when you message Floor, when you contact support, and when you arrive through an affiliate or referral link. We use those for security, fraud prevention, and paying the right affiliate. We also store how you found us — the site that referred you and any campaign tags on the link.
The machine scanner
When you photograph a machine, the photo is uploaded to us and sent to Google's Gemini vision service, which reads the numbers on the screen and returns them. Google processes the photo to answer that request.
We keep the photo in private storage alongside what the scanner read from it, linked to your account, so we can check and improve the scanner's accuracy. Photos are never published, never sold, and never shown to other members. We do not attach your location to them. A photo may, however, carry location data recorded by your own camera — if that matters to you, turn location off for your camera in your phone's settings.
Photos and their scan records are deleted after 90 days, or sooner if you ask. See Data Deletion.
Floor, the assistant
To answer you, the text of your message is sent to an outside AI provider — Google (Gemini), with Groq as a fallback. Please do not send Floor anything you would not want leaving our systems.
Your messages and Floor's replies are stored so the conversation follows you between devices. Against each chat session we also store your email address if you are signed in, your IP address, your browser type, and the page you were on — that is what lets us answer a support question ourselves instead of leaving you with the bot, and what stops abuse of a free assistant.
Chat history and session records are deleted after 60 days.
Your email address is used to sign you in, to manage your subscription, and to send things you need — receipts, password resets, and a reminder before a trial converts. Creating an account also adds your address to our product mailing list. Every message we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect your account or your access.
Mail is delivered through Resend, Brevo, Amazon SES or SendGrid, depending on which is available at the time. Those providers receive your email address and the message.
The casino map
Map images are served by CARTO and OpenStreetMap, and searching for a place sends that search to OpenStreetMap's geocoder. Loading a map means those providers see your IP address, the same as any image you load from another site. If you tap “near me”, your browser asks your permission first and your coordinates are used in your browser to sort the list — we do not store them.
Where your data is stored
On servers in the United States. The site runs on Vercel, which also holds the private file storage the scanner photos live in. The database is Supabase (PostgreSQL). Payments and card details are held by Stripe. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, and every connection uses HTTPS.
If you are outside the United States, using the service means your data is handled there.
How long we keep things
Your account and subscription records are kept while your account exists. Everything else is deleted automatically on a schedule:

The analytics providers named above keep their own copies under their own policies, which we do not control.
Your Rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — at any time, and without giving a reason. Email support@runtheslots.com from the address on your account. We act on deletion requests within 30 days, and confirm when it is done. Stripe keeps its own payment records for as long as its rules require; that part is not ours to erase.

Adults only
Run the Slots is for adults old enough to gamble legally where they live. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. If a change is significant we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing the text.
