- Ways display lag: The ways counter on the middle reel shows the current spin’s count. It does not predict next spin. An inflated ways display with unchevroned full-height reels will be far lower next spin.

- Re-evaluate each spin: Reel heights and chevron states can change with each spin. Re-check after each play resolution.
