What Are Cascading Reels?
On a traditional slot, symbols land, the game pays any winning combinations, and stops. Cascading reels add one rule: any symbol that is part of a win is removed from the screen. The gaps left behind are filled — usually by the symbols above sliding, or tumbling, down while brand-new symbols drop in from the top. The game then re-checks the refreshed screen, and the cascade keeps going as long as each new arrangement produces at least one win.
