Photograph the machine in front of you. It finds the object on that cabinet worth watching — a counter, a meter, a set of collected symbols — reads where it currently sits, and checks that against the guide for that machine. It is doing what an advantage player does at a glance, on a machine they have never seen before.
It will not guess. If the reading is not legible, or the machine is not one of the 200+ we have documented, it says so rather than inventing a number. How to take the shot.
